Set during the Golden Age of Caribbean piracy, 1710 - 1720, history meets myth in this story of cross-dressing women pirates Anne Bonny and Mary Read, and their fateful encounter with the notorious Captain Rackham or Calico Jack, and his pirate crew.
Bonny and Read is a musical featuring nine songs composed by Frederick Appleby, with lyrics by Claire Novello.
