Who is Lucas, the charismatic, hippy-like figure selling Tickets to Heaven, given to him by Jesus?
Tim, a vicar going through a crisis of faith, accuses him of being a conman, but Lucas says that Tim is the real conman, offering promises he cannot deliver.
Tim soon finds that his opinion of Lucas is far too one-dimensional and when Tim’s wife, Josephine, becomes involved it sets off a chain of miraculous events that leaves Lucas even more of an enigma.
