A glory-seeking, English Munro-bagger is forced to shelter from an unrelenting snowstorm in an abandoned mountain bothy which he finds occupied by a feisty young Scottish woman, and former ‘gentleman’s club’ hostess, who is fleeing a controlling gangster boyfriend.
Their encounter is as stormy as the unusually severe winter Highland weather that engulfs them, as the two struggle not only to come to terms with one another but also to lay the ghosts of their troubled pasts.
