The rediscovery of a forgotten videotape, filmed by a community activist during a National Front protest in 1978, draws those caught on camera back into a past they thought was settled. As memories collide with the footage, buried secrets emerge, revealing how our choices can echo across generations.
Stepping on a Butterfly explores the paradox of nostalgia, examining how our longing for the past can obscure truth, accountability and the enduring consequences of past actions.
