Dublin 1964. The times they are a-changing? But not in Dublin, where old habits and the hurts of the past demand loyalty: to family, to place, to history.
20 year old Paul O’Rourke’s pursuit of his hopes and ambitions exposes deep and distressing conflicts in his family. Paul finds that his rejection of his family and community leads to events which will affect him for the rest of his life.
The first act was read in a ‘Shall I go on?’ evening in September 2007. The full play was read at AWL in March 2009.
