Edmund Dehn played the title role in the web series Lear Alone, a one-man version of King Lear which won the Best Series Award at OnComm in 2022. He took the stage version to the Edinburgh Festival in 2023. He also won awards for Charon in Lovelorn in 2009 & Fred in You Need Help in 2019. The Judge Minty Fan Film, in which he plays the title role, won awards in 2013 and has topped a million views on YouTube.
Recent theatre also includes Krapps Last Tape (Elysium TC), Death of a Hunter (Finborough), Orbits (London, Germany & Poland), Power Luncheon & What I Really Think of My Husband.
Film & TV work includes The Jingle Bell Heist, Vesper, The Containment (shot in Mexico City), With Love From Suffolk, Lykkeland, Say Nothing, The Curse & Everything Now.
He voiced Winston Churchill for BBC4’s The Secret Files and characters in several computer games, including Final Fantasy XVI. He also read the Gormenghast trilogy unabridged onto audio book and, long ago, appeared in the Childrens gameshow Knightmare.
In 2023 he won the London Pub Theatre Network’s Standing Ovation Award for Lifetime Achievement.
