PARVIN KUMAR RAMCHURN

A BBC journalist with twenty years’ experience, Parv writes drama when he is not producing news. After specialising in screenwriting, he has recently started writing for the stage.

A graduate of the University of the Arts Screenwriting MA, Parv also participated in the prestigious TAPS course run by ITV.

As a BBC journalist he has interviewed a serving Prime Minister (Tony Blair), worked on the Today programme and at Radio 5 Live. He also produced and co-wrote the critically acclaimed Radio 4 documentary After I Was Gorgeous presented by former ballerina Deborah Bull (click the link below to listen on BBC Sounds).

In 2010, Parv worked as a producer on the landmark BBC series A History of the World in 100 Objects.

He has also worked as a drama critic for The Stage newspaper.
